Leslie and Scott Say "I Do" | Canton, Ohio Wedding Photographer | Fall Weddings

This adorable couple didn't miss a beat. The beautiful bride even sat out a basket full of potential necessities for her guests in the rest room and had a table full of activities for kids. They were so thoughtful and ready to spend the rest of their lives together. He gave her chocolates that replicated one of his first gifts to her and she was pretty sure each chocolate was the same. So sweet. Here are a few images from their special day.

This family was such a blast to work with. We hope they had as much fun as we did! They had some funny inside jokes too. We could say just a few simple words and their faces lit up with smiles and laughter. I love the natural smiles! 

Rock the Shot : July Photo Challenge

This post is for a contest through www.rocktheshotforum.com. The moment I saw that they were having a contest for sun flare I immediately thought of this image. This was a fun portrait session. Our model wore a vintage outfit, had her hair done, and had on some bright red lipstick that was slightly out of her comfort zone but oh so perfect on!

When I had her lay down for this image I knew the sun was shining right at us and was hoping to capture some sun flare. Sure enough, I captured a lot of it and then enhanced it in Lightroom 5 to really make all of the colors come to life.

This is the first contest I have entered. I am excited and really enjoyed seeing all of the other entries. A lot of beautiful work!

Congratulations Lea and Andy on your Engagement! | Canton, Ohio and Kent, Ohio Engagement Photographer

These are some wonderful friends of ours and we had the opportunity to witness their actual proposal while it was happening. We are not quite ready to post this whole session yet but there are some very excited family members without facebook that would like to see the images so here are a few just for them.

Creative Ideas for a Photo Session

There are the classic sessions such as engagement, children, family, maternity, seniors, and weddings but there are so many other great reasons to have a photo session. There are so many memories in our day to day life that we often forget to document to look back on later. 

On our Pinterest page we have pinned a variety of images to inspire creative sessions. 

Here are some great ideas for your next unique photo session. 

New Home Owners Session
We will meet you at your new home with your keys. Capture the first moment you walk in. We can take a variety of images for you to feature in your home. Home is where the Heart is and buying a new home is an exciting experience that shouldn't be forgotten. These would be great for house warming invitations too! 

Best Friend Session
This session is perfect for friends of any age. Gather up a large group of friends and capture smiles and laughter! Friend sessions are a blast. We can take classic portraits with all of your friends or we can go to a favorite location that you all enjoy visiting. Maybe this session would include a trip to the mall, cupcake shop, or baseball field. 

Sweet Sixteen
This is such a memorable age for teens. Often they have big parties so why not have a fun filled photo shoot to capture the sweet memories of your sweet sixteen! 

1st Car or Driver's License 
Getting your first car is an exciting time in life. It gives the teen a new sense of independence. Park your car and we will be sure to get a shot of you in and out of it, capture all the details, and have you show off your classic driver's license photo. 

Gender Reveal
Revealing the gender of your baby in a creative fashion has become quite popular lately. Maybe you had the doctor put the appropriate colored outfit in the bag, gave the bakery a slip of paper and asked them to make the inside of your cake either pink for a girl or blue for a boy, or maybe you filled a box with either pink or blue balloons. No matter which way you decide to reveal the gender this is a great opportunity for a photo shoot filled with joy and excitement! If there are little siblings it would be fun to add in a few "big brother or big sister" images as well. These images would be great for baby shower invitations as well to share your special news with all of your friends! 

Anniversary Session
Couples typically have their wedding images and possibly some engagement photos but having updates images to display in your home are great as well. What better time than to document your anniversary. Whether it is one, five, ten, or even 25 years your anniversary is a great time to have a photo session.
