Are you a bride who is planning her wedding? I loved the ideas that this bride used as favors! She had hand made soap with a personalized label, a large box of s'mores ready to be toasted over the fire, and candy apples dipped in sprinkles! Yum! I am sure it must have been hard for the guests to choose.
Favors have become very unique and tend to fit the theme of the weddings we attend. One fall wedding had jelly for their guests and a backyard wedding had popcorn kernels for their guest. Some other great ideas that we have seen are a CD of your favorite songs, a small pouch of coffee, a pair of sunglasses or flip flops for a hot sunny day, or a jar of honey. Don't be afraid to think of of the box and give your guests a unique gift for sharing your special day with you!
We had the honor of spending the day with this beautiful couple in October. The church was decorated perfectly for their fall wedding and was complete with s'mores and candy apples for guests to take home with them. The s'mores and candy apples are pictured above. It was a rainy day so for some of the portraits we were under the front entrance way roof but the sun came out just long enough after the ceremony to go to a local farm and take pictures in front of the barn.
